well i finally got on here ,life has been so busy,and i havent been taking any pictures lately,but my daughter sure took alot of picks lately and these pic's from my nieces 6 year birthday party last week..the first pic is my sister and my daughter,

halloween was alot of fun this year,i took my daughter and her little brother trick or treat,we went to see family and visited with them for awhile ,eating more candy as we stop by there houses..then later we were back home and my son came home and he was taking his little brother to the bucks basketball game ,so my daughter helped the brothers to get ready,so as you can see they were ready to go..her little brother had her spray his hair red.he is so cute..my older son had so much spray all over him,then there is the pic of all of us..they had a great time at the game while my daughter and i watched halloween movies..hope you all had a great halloween..

this past weekend my daughter and i spendt some time together,we went to her churches chili cook off..they must of had more then 25 differant chili.they had it at a huge barn ,it was so big,three of my houses could fit in there..lol they also had tons of desserts,and some people came in there halloween costumes,parents and kids,so my daughter took a few pic's of them,guess which one won? it was little elvis,he was so adorable..it was a nice day, glad i had some time with my daughter.thanks for stopping by..

good afternoon,this past weekend jim and i ,and my daughter tiffany,and jims daughter cindy went to six flags,it was pretty cold but we had promised the girls we would go,so here are a few pics from the fright fest,it didnt seem as scary as it used to be ,but the girls really enjoyed it,jim and i got so cold and my body was aching,so we left the grounds and got some hot chocalate.drove across the street and sat inside a comfort inn ,at least it was warm,the girls finally were done for the evening so back over to pick them up..i guess im getting a little bit to old to deal with that cold..lol thanks for stopping by..

good afternoon,i recently went to detroit for a long weekend,the weather was about the same that we had in wisconsin,i only hoped it would warm up alittle bit,but i did have a good time,they have three casino there ,i checked out all three and was suprised to see so many people in each one we went to.it was like a little vegas,i have to say i did get some money,most of the ones i played gave me money back so that made me feel better.i find the people there were very nice ,especially the staff at the holiday inn,the first pic is the tigers baseball stadium , the next one is a view from detroit looking over the river at canada,can you see Cesars casnio? its the tallest one on the left,the next is a view from are window looking down of downtown,the next is my friend who lives in flint , i stopped and visit her and her husband,it was so great to see her,i met her on one of my boards,this was the second time i got to see her..the last pic was me in front of motown, i was so excited to see it,so i had to get a pic in front of it.ill tell you i was so happy to get home ,i did so much walking and driving all over the place ,but im glad i went ,so thanks for stopping by ,have a good day!!

good evening,had a great weekend,went to visit my cousin dawnie and her husband,she lives a hour and half a way..her son just bought a new house near to dawn, they have 10 acres, a pond full of fish,the inside was beautiful,there bedroom and bathroom were so huge ,i was so jealous..lol but i was happy for them ,they just had a third child recently and two older siblings.the first pic is the garage,its a long walk..the next one is me with dawnies grandson,isnt he adorablehe didnt like me to much ,he screamed everytime i picked him up..we dropped off his hot tub,i was trying to take it to my house,darn..lol the picure of the pond,there dog trys to catch the fish so far he hasnt got any of them...the last pic is dawnie and her husband greg, driving around on the four wheeler..it was a great sunny day ..i really didnt get alot of pic;s inside ,but it is a great house,we left and went to dawnies place ,she and greg made a great dinner and watched some movies ,and got to get in the hot tub,boy did that feel good.i hope you all had a great weekend ...thanks for stopping by

finally i got to get all my halloween stuff up.as i was going thur the boxs i couldnt believe all the stuff i dont have room for..so back in the containers ,i move my living room around ,i just like changing things once in awhile..at night it looks so cozy and warm..we haven tgot the outside done,probably in a week or so.jim is busy working on the landscaping with his sister..thats another project that he is so happy doing..some people say its too early to put up halloween decorations,but like me and dawn ,we both love having it up ,so we can enjoy it for awhile,,and that also goes for xmas..lol well have a great week ,hope to see everyone coming back..

good afternoon,we are having great weather,in the 70's,i dont mine that..we recently had a cook out at my moms summer trailer,she has had this place for 20 yrs...my kids grew up going there almost every weekend,and some times for a week...its a great place where people care about there yards and always say hi while they are riding there golfcarts..i love driving around in the golf cart ,ya just fill free..my kids couldnt wait til they were 14 so they could drive the carts,my mom also added on a few years ago ,so now its alot bigger.they have a great pool , the first pic is the kitchen, second was me and my sister,the last three are the trailor,the living room and the front of it and the back of it,,many memories have been there ,my mom started a guest book years ago,so when anyone stops by or stays they have to sign the book,when i was there reading back from people who had stopped by ,i had to smile and also sad for those who are not there with us.i hope you enjoyed the little tour ,we love the trailor,hope it stays with us for a long time..

good morning,had a really nice time in galena,it was so full of bikers and tons of people,looked like everyone was having a great time..they have great shops ,and great restaurants..we also went to iowa to the casino,played for a few hours then we left..my friend seemed to be very happy with the town and the trip.the scenery was awsome..you can see the back ground with the picture of ann and i ...we went on a trolley ride and i took a pic from this mansion,it was beautiful.then there is a old train station in the 1800's ,im not sure what it is now..the last pic is the house of U.S.GRANT...the president in the 1800's....he lived there before he got to be the president..well im staying home for awhile,its been a great ride ,but miss my kids and jim..so enjoy your day....

as i was sitting in my living room the other day ,i thought how much i loved these two birds that says faith and hope.my cousin dawnie gave me them for my birthday last month,my candles were alittle to big ,but i was happy when she gave them to me..friends ask where did you find them,im not sure where she got them .but they look great in my living room.its really nice when you can get a gift thats something different..so when i have to get a gift i always try to find something that they would never think about,or something that was made by hand.i dont need any more sweaters or pj's ..lol ..have a great day!!!!

good morning,its been really nice out ,im enjoying working on my yard and checking out stuff online,being all the summer stuff is pretty much picked over ,but i was very happy to find this red umbrella,ive wanted to get this item since spring,so i thought i would check it out online ,well i found it and what a great price,i bought it 190.oo less then it was...usually ill wait till labor day to see whats left ,but im happy with this, it covers half of the deck..the other day i went to walmart and found two of these statues,not sure what i could call it..but i liked them and i put them in the front of the house...they too were closed out ,for only

good morning, hope everyone is enjoying the weekend,we had are rummage sale yesterday,we were so worried about the rain ,but the rain didnt start till later in the afternoon,what we did get was low temps ,we were so cold we even had sweat shirts on , so jim decided to make a bon fire in our pit,it really helped for most of the afternoon ,being it was so cold ,we didnt get alot of people but hope we will see more people today cause its going to be in the 70's...i hope to get rid of the big stuff ,we want to get are garage cleaned out....if i dont sell the furiture ill go on craigs list...well need to get outside and sell away!!!lol

good morning,nice sunny day!im trying to get my garage cleaned.started yesterday ,but we just have to much stuff,we are having a rummage sale netx week.i always have to have one every year,well with me going to rummage sales all summer ,i have to get rid of some of mt stuff.lolive been looking for a milk can for awhile ,well i found this one for 4.00, i still have to do something with it....im showing you's my shutters we put up yesterday,we were planning on buying some ,but we got lucky ,a friend of mine redid there house,took off there shutters ,so i asked how much for them ,they didnt want anything for them ,they were going to trow them out ,so we took them and painted them to match our front door,that was a great deal,then the two pics of the wickers sets ,the first one was the one i got at a rummage sale for 40.00's and the other one was also 40.00s that one has a rocker chair and another chair ,love seat,coffee table,and a end table,my friend sold me that one..cant beat that price..i guess ive been pretty lucky this month,but alot of my friends are like you get all the good stuff ,but they need to know im out looking all the times ,they harding ever go to rummage sales,so if you want to find some treasures get out and fine them...have a great sunday..thanks for stopping by..

i just love going to the lakefront,the other day i was driving by the lake front ,the sky was so blue ,i had to take a pic of our electric trolley car,i have taken a ride on there a few times,i love seeing that trolley car driving all around the lake ,,we got that trolley a few years ago ,i cant remember where it was before,but kids and adults enjoy taking a ride,during xmas they decorate the car and they even have santa aboard the trolley,giving candy to the kids...if i had my way i would spend alot more time enjoying the views at the lake...well im off to work..hope everyone has a blessed day..

happy mothers day to all you great women on this blog...today im thinking about a great women in my life,she was my grandma, we were very close .and i miss her ,she left us in 1986..she is pictured here with my grandpa..one thing about them ,they were the best cooks ,my grandma made the best lasagna ever,no one has beat it ..if you lived in our town and stopped by my grandparents house ,they would have you sit down and they would set a plate in front of you,filled with spagetti and the best meatballs in town.boy do i miss those meatballs..lol there was always food cooking on the stove,she also worked at a restaurant. she was known in our town ,that she had the best Cinnamon rolls in town. people would come there just for her rolls..,she has five children ,and she was always around for everyone.a good hearted person..so for her im saying happy mothers day to my grannie....

morning, what a great weekend,the weather was great ,worked alittle bit on the yard ,cooked on the grill,relaxed in my favorite chair reading my country living..saturday i went to a few rummage sales ,i found these two things for my yard,the one on the left was brand new it still had a price tag on it with the price,the price was 99.00,and the tag she had on it was 10.00.what a deal,i put it in my gazbo, it really looks great there..then i found this bird cage, never was used and i really loved it ,not sure where im putting it ,and i only paid 5.00.. as you can tell i love finding treasures at rummage sales ..im heading out the door to go to work ,i hope everyone had a wonderful weekend ,enjoy your monday....

finally got some flowers,i was so excited to see them ,the tulip is the first one i got so far, but she is so cute..there will be more they just havent opened up.now im just waiting on my lilacs,i love putting them in the house they smell so good..so glad we are in may..i thought it would never get here!!! going to check out a few sales then we are working on the yard and cleaning out our garage..i hope you all have a great weekend ,and great weather..

so glad its the weekend,and we are getting good weather..im planning on going to more rummage sales tomorrow,they had alot of them in the paper so i cant wait to get to them...i hope i find some new treasures..last week when i was shopping with dawnie she pointed out a thing that shows you how much rain you get,since she had one she loved seeing how much rain came,at that time i thought i dont need one of them ,i could care less about how much rain we get,but the other day i found this cute rain level with the humming birds ,im not sure what they call it,anyways once i seen it i decided i wanted it on my deck,and with all this rain this past week ,we have to cut the grass it sure is growing long.im just glad to see green .lol have a great friday!!thanks for stopping...

wow we had such great weather yesterday and hopefully today..i took a break from work yesterday,went home and did some stuff in the yard..since people are talking about whats on the wall ,i decided to tell you about this pic,i found it at a good will ,it was one of those pictures that stood out and i really loved it,it looks so Innocent,and i love the dog and the fact he was wearing red white and blue,i have this hanging in my bedroom,this pic reminds me of the old days when our family would go to the 4th of july parade,,which also is my birthday,my mom told me the parade was for me,lol of course i wasnt happy when i found out that my mom had misleaded me.well it was fun for awhile..have a great day ..thanks for stopping ......

this is our lakefront,i love going for walks ,and sometimes just sitting watching all the boats ,and the people on bikes or roller skating..even on hot days there always seem to have a breeze.the first pic is two of my clients,i just love those guys,ive been working with them for 10 years.when im working with them we always go to the lake front after supper for a nice walk.the house next to a light house was once a house where my guys used to live years ago,now its a landmark ,they did a great redo of the place,i would love to have that house..during the summer we have music outside ,every saturday they have a fresh market,i love going to that,we also have festivals and we also have a electric trolley that goes all around the lake front..so i just wanted to share where i love going in the summer ..have a great day!!!!!!!!!!

good morning ,well most of the snow melted and that makes me happy..today i just wanted to see what you can get pretty much cheap..i bought these table mats at boston store ,they are liz claiborne , between the two placemats and two napkins it only cost six dollars,one placemat was eight dollars so that was a deal ..then the rooster plates i got from 7th ave cost me 25cents for each plate and salad bowl..i really love them ..the white pitcher was five dollars ,then i seen the country door basket,ive wanted to buy it but it was to high ,they wanted 46.00,well the other day at 7th ave they had a great sale i got the basket for 16.oo,i keep my throw blankets in there.i love going to that store ,there always getting new stuff every week..and alot cheaper then in the catalog.i almost forgot to tell you the white country table is also from 7th ave. the catalog is way to expense..enjoy your monday!!

well its getting closer to the weekend,i have to say this week went pretty fast..well at least for me..i got to go shopping ,we have a birthday party at a really nice restaurant.its for one of my clients...so i have to find something for his birthday..the restaurant has great food,great prime rib...i think i will be having that..lol i hear we might get a little bit of snow on saturday,now that really sucks..how much more can we take..not sure what ill be doing this weekend,it will be fine if i dont do anything , i need to start making my cards,,i bought some card stock and a few other things to make the cards ,this is all new to me so i hope i can make them really cute.well need to get ready and have some coffee ,i hope your day is a full of happiness ....

i recently went to jc pennys,i found a dress for my daughter,she will need it for the spring dance.i wasnt even looking for one at that time,but there was a big sale so i thought i would check it out.i found this dress(in the pic)it was her size,and the full price was 110.00, i got it for 8.00 dollars,what a deal ,and my daughter loved the dress,whew i wasnt sure if she would like it but i would take the chance for that price..so shes happy and im happy..it also has a long black scarf.have a great wednesday.......

its going to be in the high 60's today,and i have to work ,hopefully i will get a break and enjoy this weather..i really want to start putting out my outdoor furiture..i love sitting on my deck and its been so long,so i might put a few things out so we can sit out there..i have another long week at work,we are also short handed at work ..one of our part time girls took off for a month,so now its going to be hard trying to fill in some of the weekends..i just hope they hire some one soon. well at least i have something to look forward to ,on saturday the church has a cornbeef and cabbage, they have a good turn out every year,i dont like making it ,but i love eating it..lol so enjoy your st pattys day,and hope your getting warm weather too..........

these are pictures i found that my mom had ,the first pic is my grandma and maybe her brother,im not sure,the second pic is my grandma on the left with her sister,then both of my grandparents,it was a good find ,i havent seen these pics in a long time ,i love the ones that are so old like the two pics ,they were probably from the 40's,my grandma would deck out when she would go out ,big earring a lot of rouge, red lipstick and some times big hats. i took after my grandma with the big earrings,i love them...i will always treasure these pic's.i only wish i had more.. im going to see movie with a friend,then later going to meet up with my good friend and her husband,for supper..here i thought i didnt have any thing planned for today ,so im happy about that , i hope everyone has a great saturday..

so much for warm weather.down to 30degrees today..i hope next week breaks out some warm weather..i spendt some time yesterday going thur pictures of my sisters and my parents and all of our kids,what i thought it would be really borning ,but i had a great time ,my sister and i were looking at the pic's and laughing so hard about the way we dressed and it was all about the hair do..in the 70's i had a afro,in the 80's a malet (not sure thats the right name)and in the 90's wasnt bad ,just a full head of hair.it was so great to find pic's of family that has passed on,it's like seeing them again all over and boy do i treasure them...im just so glad i took the time to spend with my sister and have a great laugh doing it..have a blessed day!!!

another rainy day.and alot of mud!! but i am happy to see the weather is getting warmer.it has been a very long week ,then i finally got done on saturdy morning ,forgetting that i had signed up for a scrapbooking class,it was from 9am till 9pm,oh darn i was so beat but i went any way.and now im glad i went ,i really relaxed and got alot done.the best part is meeting new friends ,i had two ladies next to me and we really had alot of things in common.we shared stories of our lives and just had fun .we exchanged phone # and emails..i feel there is always room for another friend..i didnt stay as long as everyone,i left after dinner,the chairs were'nt that comforable.next time im bringing a pillow for my chair...,im off to church...have a blessed day!!

well its the end of the weekend,how fast it can go..i usually have a 48 hr shift but this week i have 66 hrs.ill be doing this shift every other week.,,my boss is off for awhile so i dont know how long this will be..if it was summer out i would not want to do it,but for now ill be ok with it..my daughter is seeing another doctor for her hand,not sure what they will have to say,she still has pain in her hand.....went to a birthday party for one of my clients today ,he was so excited ..being he is down syndrome , he just loves partys,and getting gifts is a plus..so now im hanging out ,my kids went to a hockey game so its nice and quiet around here...hope everyone that stops by enjoy your sunday..

well it looks like its very foggy out and its going to rain,i have so much mud by our back door,this spring we plan on putting bricks down so in the winter we wont have to deal with the mud.my daughter tiffany was at school the other day ,some how she had her hand by the door and someone shut the door not knowing her hand was there,i guess he slamed it pretty hard and she couldnt open the door so will all her pain she was screaming so loud the teachers and students came running to help her ,they called her dad and went to the hospital.they gave her something but couldnt do much cause it was swelled so bad.she is still in pain ,monday she goes to the doctor, they might have to do plastic surgery on her hand,i feel her pain,i just hope everything will be all right..have a good day.......

well i made it back from my four day vacation..i really enjoyed my time with my grandson.and the weather was in the forties and fifties and the grass was nice and green.cant wait to see green around here. dylan (my grandson) has a little sister who just turned one years old,her name is ragen ,she has a differant daddy..but since my grandson calls me nana, she started calling me that too,and her father told me he would love to have her call me that .that made me happy..her mommy got her the pink dress,and ending up taking it off because she torn up the birthday cake ,what a happy mess..my dylan is growing so fast and i miss him already ,in fact he took a day off of school cause he wanted to go to the airport to see me off..its so hard to say good by to him ,i try not to cry cause i dont want him to worry,but as i walked away the tears came rolling down..its just so hard to be so far away..im hoping he will be here in june ..well i hope everyone is doing well .have a good nite

had a very nice weekend, enjoyed everything we did.now today i go to my part time job,,i told my boyfriend i would take him out for supper ,cause on valentines day we spent it with my daughter and his daughter..i told him he can pick out where he wants to go.it is a nice sunny day,i love sitting in my computer room where there. is alot of sun shining in and drinking my coffee..hope you all had a wonderful valentines..now we have st pattys day coming ,got to find my st pats stuff...since we moved here last year we still cant find all of our stuff..but this spring we will have to get going on finding everything..well enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by..

well its been a busy week ,so glad its saturday..so how is your valentines day ? jim bought me some bubble baths and body sprays from dawnie,i really love them, we are going to my daughters church for a valentines dinner and a puppet show...my daughter is one of the puppets, its not like the hand puppets ,it is as large as a person ,and its a awsome show..i have to get ready,i hope you all have a great valentines day!!!

so happy its the weekend!!i got a pretty busy one ,but ill be enjoying it.im gettting so excited to go to georgia,i leave thursday morning ,im going to see my grandson and his family..and i hear the weather is really warm ,,yesterday it was in the 70's,,im all for that..i wish we had that weather ...ill be there for four days ,i wish i could stay longer,but i have to get back to work..well im off to get groceries,,enjoy your friday!!

really enjoyed the warm day,it got pretty windy in fact my cat saw the leaves blowing by my picture window and she ran toward the window and bang she hit her face into the window,,i had to laugh,she had no idea what happened..cats can be so funny!!!i spent some time in my garage looking for some stuff i need ,its so full of stuff so i only found a few things.when spring comes im cleaning it out...well i got to see what im having for supper,enjoy your day!!

what a great day its going to be in the 60's and i will be enjoying the weather,i already went out on my deck and it felt pretty warm already,but this weather wont be around to long ,tomorrow it will be back in the 40's..i cant wait to see the green grass.these pics are from our lake front and the other one is from our down town,its not to big ,but it does have cafes and a few differant kinds of stores.racine is another town very close to mine.it has a great little town ,they have so many awsome cool shops.i really enjoy living close to the lake..i only wished i could live on the lake...

the weekends sure fly by ,and its going to rain today ,but that will be good ,cause it will melt the ugly muddy snow..they say tomorrow will be in the 60's and its my day off so i will be enjoying the weather.i really enjoyed my weekend,and i have another busy one next week .as i sit in my little office at my home ,i have two nice size windows,, every morning when i come on the computer i see different birds,i dont know to much about them but i enjoy watching them ,right now there is a little black and white bird,it looks like it has stripes on his back,never seen that one before....i tryed to take a pic of it ,but its to small to see him ,,enjoy your monday,have a great day!!!

what a great week,besides dawn and her husband and there dog genie,we had our uncle over and my mom ,my uncle made the prime rib ,it was awsome!!this pic is dawnie and my daughter tiffany..dawn brought her calming scents with her ,my boyfriend bought some stuff for me for valentines,and my mom and aunt also bought some ,then my ex and his wife came by and she bought some baths stuff ,so dawnie did pretty well ..cant wait to take my bath and soak ..we had pretty good weather this weekend,hope it stays that way!!i tryed to post a few pic at a time but it didny work ,i may try again..have a great nite

it feels so good to be outside ,im guessing it is in the 40's ,tomorrow it will be in the 50's ,but we might get some rain...here is my cat ,we call her stinky, when she was younger she passed gas all the time ,and it was alful,i had to laugh cause i never had a cat that did that so we ended up calling her stinky.. she doesnt do that anymore.now my boyfriend cant use her for excuses..lol enjoy your day!!!

well its the start of another day.cant wait for this weekend ,its going to be in the forties,i can handle that!!this picture is from our lake Michigan,i love going there , in the summer they have concerts there and a farmers market,and just a great place to hang out its right next to our little downtown ,which has alot of little cafes and a wine restaurant,and shops..i love checking out little towns ,seeing there shops and restaurants,infact dawnie and i ,our hubbies and dawns twins all headed up toward chicago,stopping at all the little towns ,we really enjoyed it ,we will have to do that again..time to go to work ,enjoy your day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
